We steal the Data 4 UR pleasure! and we use the data to highlight where we see oppression, social depravation and the denial of equal rights and justice. We fight to access these rights for all humankind. |

Bio: - Formed in 1999 Data Thieves employ the freedom of the internet to express artistic morality and political adjutation through the use of music in order to highlight prejudice, oppression and social depravation where ever it is found. We provide an alternative platform for the listeners to access threads of parallel conscious awareness and thought. Pioneering and innovating with a rich blend of multicultural genres and styles, Data Thieves became the top downloaded band from Cyberdeen in bonnie Scotland. We use both sampling of sounds of everyday surroundings which we may or may not "electronically process" depending upon the appropriateness, as well as crossing to more traditional methods of musical playing and composition. Although listed under "Electronic and Dance", Data Thieves seek to remove the boundaries and guidelines which constrain and restrict.
