Ah yes, this is very cool stuff. I have a soft spot in my heart for this style. Can't say that I listen to it much, but I did once buy a CD of similar material ("Dance Raja Dance", compilation of Indian film music by Vijaya Anand). Sankar sounds just as good, if not better. Love the eclecticism and joyous spirit! (That loud, saturated sound is typical of this genre if I'm not mistaken). |
