Perfect for listening or meditative background. I love the tone of the drums. I have never heard drums like this before. Sounds like tabla extended into an orchestra. Wonderful little melodic riffs. At times the drums set a pattern for the sax to blow over. At times it seems like the two instruments are trading lines. Great rapport between the 2 virtuoso musicians. And a wonderful exotic ...feeling. Makes me want to return to Djibouti (and I've never been there!) |

Hey, this is some good stuff! I'm listening to "Night of the Lotus" right now cause the name made the track sound good even before I started listening to it. I don't listen to Jazz that often, but this track made me change my mind, I just might get into this sort of thing! I really liked how it started out with just the drums cause I didn't know what to expect. Then I heard the sax k ...ick in and it flavored the whole track since. Keep up the great work! -Max aka Synthead, visit user website |
