"it is important to give the common courtesy of thanks whenever appropriate" "fuckin' there was this guy he would stare , he would stare with a blank space into the song and just he...he recorded chatter over it... i dunno it kind of took away from the song"
"everybody needs to be someone. everybody needs to be free. everybody needs to love someone. why don't you let you love me."
"if an individual can't recognize that there is a problem or that there is a danger then he loses all opportunity to either solve the problem, or prepare himself for the danger." |

this is a song kris paterson made out of my caseless lungs original. the sample is taken from an art project conducted in NYC in the 1980's it was called the apology project. so the confessions you hear within the song are all real. they were recorded via a 1-800 number supplied by the artist responsible. kris paterson also uses this track in his project slough titled (noon) chaos. |

k i'll try and reproduce the lyrics. man-"well i don't know how to say this but I, I killed a man. he was giving me a hard time and he was flashing money so i killed him and i took the money and i baught some heroine." -hangs up man calls back- "um i called up yesterday, I I killed a man, but um i called back because i wanted to explain the situation. see i feel for myself my own crime was um was sinful in a way. but i don't feel there is a need for an apology for it because the guy that i shot, i shot him twice in the chest. and...he was like dead on arrival but, the guy he was he was a fucking beet artist- he was a rip off artist, you know he used to rip people off with beef heroine. and also he was a rapist. he raped this girl like a neighborhood girl, and i didn't know the guy i wasn't related to him. but um, but still i think a rapist is one of the most scrupious crimes. and he didn't get caught and the judicial system is really fucked up. so i sorta felt like a vigilante of god. so i don't feel there is a need for apology in this situation. i mean i never was into riping off i never hurt anyone. i just carry a peice as self defence. i know it's an illegal peice and i'm carrying a list. but everytime you get ripped off i mean it's uh ya know it's my life and if somebody breaks into your apartment, it's self defence. and uh here in new york with the situation the way it is. and also i don't think gun control would do a thing because um theres always...even if the government controlls the manufacture of guns there's always gonna be mobsters that are going to sell guns to criminals and that's going to leave the honest people, unarmed....you know what i mean. i i i don't feel there is any need at all for an apology. because i never hurt anyone and i'm an honest man. he deserved it, bloody rapist and and theif! he deserved it. so i'm a vigilante of god. i never hurt anyone."- hangs up
woman- "well uh for once i think it's ......my name is ---- i know, i heard you on the public radio, i steal from stores all the time when it looked so busy and like i can't stop.............. my friends make fun of me all the time too, i don't know what to do cuz like i can't tell my mother, i've been caught before, been to court so many times, after the court system and i can't stop well and i'm sorry i lie all the time, ...now i've made a mess i wonder how i'm going to clean up. well talking to a tape recorder i know that makes me feel a little bit better. but um...."-hangs up. |

this is the end. the last of the album. there was an intro called :the cold front. but it didn't fit into the grand scheme of things for this website. i will have a website up soon to let the curious ones know more regarding whatever needs to be known. next time i will use somthing OTHER than the elctric guitar! well, maybe just more than just that. maybe some piano. who knows i might even learn how to mix. if anyone would like to somehow get involved in this project then get ahold of me. it'd be cool if faultline sitter could eventually become a band. |
