Song Info: |
Shady Rosy was originally written as a Pop/Rock song and achieved regional success in the '70's. Charlie Solak, the original author put the song out on the internet for a "remake" in 2003. I found it and got Tim Johns to record a proposed demo in a laid-back bluesy/Steely Dan style. Charlie loved our demo and asked us to do a final. The result is Shady Rosy - Jazzy Version. This song is now copyright (SOCAN/ASCAP)Charlie Solak, Louise Peacock and Tim Johns. Tim Johns arranged the instrumentals and played guitars, bass, keys and drums. Louise Peacock (AKA Kid Wezel) sang it. Tim also recorded and produced the song. Charlie, Tim and I plan to release the single to radio stations in the U.S. in early 2004. It has already been released on Canadian, Cuban and Spanish radio in late 2004. |
