Song Info: |
We have other songs that were recorded on a four track recorder then turned in to a computer file, and the other was done on a half inch tape reel then turned into a computer file. The quality of the recording on these songs were not as high as we would have liked at the time, but something was better than nothing if you know what I mean? I have been working on upgrading my Macintosh computer for five years, and turning it into a 100 track recording studio for the band. I have had some experience with computer recording, because I had started recording nine songs in the recording studio that are not finished, but since I have set up my own home recording studio it is easier to record songs. I will finish the other nine songs as soon as possible, and I will be working on recording new songs with all the members of Voltage as soon as possible. Once I had my new home studio finally set up this song was the first song recorded, and as I became more familiar with the recording program the song became bigger and better. I have learned the entire recording process at this point, and we will be recording more songs with high quality digital recording. We all learned from this song while recording it, and this will be reflected in future songs that should be even better. Copyright 2005. |

First Verse: It was only a year ago, when the story was true. I was longing for your love, I didn't know what to do. In everywhere I saw your face, I was out of my mind. A love like yours so hard to take, was so hard to find. An emptiness dwells deep within, such a state of confusion. But a drug as strong as love, only creates an illusion. First Bridge: The hands from hell grabbed my neck, and pulled me back to the ground. I yelled for help still none could hear my fate, all by myself no one around. Second Verse: This pain is so hard to take, I'm ready to leave this space. No longer to be found, and nothing to leave a trace. So spread open those silvery clouds, and open those pearly gates. Relieve me of all my pain, lead me to my fate. I felt myself going up, the clouds began swell. My spirit finally has risen up, as far as I could tell. Second Bridge: The hands from hell grabbed my neck, and pulled me back to the ground. Still none could hear my fate, all by myself no one around. Third Verse: It was only a year ago, when the story was true. I was longing for your love, I didn't know what to do. In everywhere I saw your face, I was out of my mind. A love like yours so hard to take, was so hard to find. An emptiness dwells deep within, such a state of confusion. But a drug as strong as love, only creates an illusion. Third Bridge: The hands from hell grabbed my neck, and pulled me back to the ground. I yelled for help still none could hear my fate, all by myself no one around. |
