| Lyrics: |
You can say what you want Say what you will On days like these I lose the thrill
Un-touch-able And above it all I got news for you baby How the mighty fall
Like those before you and many yet to come Bought down by their actions And by a forked tongue
You wouldnt be the first You wouldnt be the last To drink tears from the fountain In a rose colored glass
Time is a wasting Wasting time again Life is confusion Turn your back The end |

"Sentimental" off the Radio Orphans CD No Strangers To Exploration |
 |
| Lyrics: |
m mental I'm feeling sentimental I got to get up the courage now give you a call Im mental Im feeling sentimental Let my fingers do the walking a give you a call I got your number written on the wall
Im feeling sentimental Im feeling sentimental I think Im going to give your number I got to get up the courage now give you a call I got to get up the courage Its times like these I need a call
Days like these you know there not the best With your past catching up And your put to the test A familiar voice to put things right To clear your mind to get you through the night
Im mental Im feeling sentimental I got to get up the courage an give you call Oh -oh Im mental Im feel sentimental This time it just seems right I think I got the courage to give you a call I got your number written down on the wall I got your number written down on the wall Oh baby you know what im talking about
You never pick up when I try and call Speed dial doesnt work And redial not at all The ringing in your ears The ringing in my head I just need an answer Some help from a friend
Im mental I'm feeling sentimental I got to get up the courage now give you a call Oh baby Im mental Im feeling sentimental Let my fingers do the walking a give you a call I got your number written on the wall |

"So Far" from the CD "No Strangers To Exploration" |
 |
| Lyrics: |
How do you like it so far? How do you like it know? Its not quite what you thought it would be Its not all in my Head
Its all around me I know you feel it too Its inescapable now Its undeniable
I need you to feel this I know that you need this now How do you like it so far? How do you like it now? Its not quite what you thought it would be Its not all in my Head
And now you feel it like I do And Im not so alone Now you see it like I do And now Ill throw ya a bone |

"231" Smooth and moody. _________
"Panic" Action and Suspense, this would make great background music for a spy movie s chase scene. _________
"Orphan Horn" This reminds of an island vacation with Alan Watts and very good band; and I do like to listen to Watts. This has an enchanting beat, ethereal cameoesque vocals, It's nearly five minutes long, but, it seems as if ... it has been playing only a minute, very nice.
_________
"Blue Day Fading" I see this music playing as........ the scene opens on a large cave entrance. The camera turns from cave to red sunset sky and then back to cave. *voice begins* Camera slowly zooms toward cave interior. Screen is engulfed by total jet blackness.
Black slowly becomes vast
star-field . _________
"Born Knowing" A road map for, most of, the real world. Another reviewer stated that "Born Knowing" was recorded live, and I concur, that is amazing. And it ends with the heartbeat stopping, very well done, indeed._________ "Crow Creek" A melodically sedate ripper. _________
"Nobody Gets Along" Oh, I like this, much. Using a police scanner as the vocals, purely brilliant concept. Too real. _________
"Sundown" (in the arroyo mix) This is not for most people, but then again, most people, really. I like the manner in which it speaks of futility.

Sounds like back to the basics & going to the source by people that know what to do with it when they get there.

Radio Orphans are truly genre-crossing with a transcendental, experimental sound. Only open minds over here! It can be ambient with edge, but I also hear trance, goth, rock, tribal, jazz, jam ... they touch a primal part of the soul. it has been playing only a minute, very nice.

FT once siad that he could roll a chiclet on a key board and make a radioorphans-like song... well he can't, but they do it well. my favorite masters of the organic/electronic blend. always something new! it has been playing only a minute, very nice.
