A song Brianna Lane, myself, and Waverly Milor wrote one sunny April day. This is just a rough yet fun recording (just one take) we did that same day. Brianna - lead vocal and acoustic guitar. Chris - harmony vocal and electric guitar. Wave - harmonica. |

Yeah, here's my English language only review. (Well, I might slip this or that bit of foreign language in as I go, but c'est la vie, right?)
I listened to I Found Jesus. I liked the sound of it, but I had a problem with the vocal dipping down below an audible level, and I found it difficult to make out the words. Chris has obviously spent some time playing, singing and writing, but some atten ...tion to mixing is in order. The tune turns on the lyrics, so the words have to be easily heard. When the vocal dips down below the level of audibility, the most obvious way to deal with that is to compress the vocal track and then raise its level. Simple. How to learn how to do this? Well, there are lots of online homerecording sites where somebody who's serious about their craft can learn the required. I know of two offhand, and there are more. Email me if you're interested.
Jesus wouldn't mind. Neither do I. |
