Sad to say that Mike Barry's time may have come.....and gone. A fine guitarist with a powerful voice and an amazing memory for songs. No singer in Hong Kong is anywhere near as good, I heard that he may soon be retiring from performing although he will continue to teach guitar. Dan Sutherland.

I saw him play in Hong Kong a few times. He was so much better than the supporting acts to follow that one band actually refused to go on saying they had equipment problems. This wasn't the case. He belongs to a different time. I heard every word he sang and his guitar playing was quite remarkable. So rare these days. He could still be famous if the right people saw him perform his own songs. &quo ...t;Sun" is a great song with a message for everyone.
