Walking through these city streets You will take my hand And we will walk away from idle threats Trying to understand Who we are
Moving past the walls Past the broken down facade Walking streets alone Jostling crowds Through blackened haze
I cant see this day Its incensed in burning fires Our weary eyes are blurred By senseless desires
I know youre out there somewhere Looking through this pouring rain The winds that blow cold Through these streets of change
Nothing holds us close Theyre pulling us apart The desires we once had Where gone from the start Virtue clouded our simplest dreams We paced out trust Closed in the hands of greed If they could only have seenNothing turns these emotions Your holding on to me
Trying to find a cure From this cities disease From all of the oppression That was ever meant to be
I sit in silence Knowing that your gone Through this broken window Knowing all along
Through these rubbish filled streets We try to run Swallowed by ourselves swallowed by the sun
And youre a lone face in the crowd Amongst the laughter sounds The silent plague thats left behind Keeping us further down
Stand to catch our breath Our backs against the world All around the city crawls We hold our flag to be unfurled
Slowly we'll walk then Through this thunder and rain We'll turn our backs Again and again
We'll scratch our names On these grimey walls Weve come so far For nothing at all
At the underpass We make our decision Left here to bleed By this carefull incision
I really like your music. It reminds me of my friend being in Darkworld and I wish she could star as the main character of a film called Darkworld.
By the way, my favourite is Panic because I like the tune-it's very catchy!
