You guys knocked me out of the #2 spot. Thank God you rock instead of suck. Very cool tune guys, I'm a 54 year old country/rock musician, and a fan!

Oh rather! Delicately fusing sunkissed wholesome and sweet California melodies with a hairy (and rather sweaty/pungent) slab of hard-driving rock, the bouquet is at first complex but inviting. Probing deeper below the surface of this murky album we discover previously hidden elements of carefree Ramones-esque chord bashing as well as some sinuous, slippery (not to mention sibilant) leads.
This ... fine brew is recommended for consumption in leather, studs and a silly wig. Cock Rock for the new generation? Maybe. Emotional? Certainly. Emo? No.
However, the single most important thing that we can possibly enquire of this album (given that its vintage/pedigree are certainly not in doubt) is this:
Does it rock?
Yes. Like a motherfucker. |

Down On Luck is still one of my favorites to listen too, it has that timeless sound quality that alot of bands don't have. fine brew is recommended for consumption in leather, studs and a silly wig. Cock Rock for the new generation? Maybe. Emotional? Certainly. Emo? No.
