| Lyrics: |
Now I'm painting a pretty picture of you infecting me with something I can't seem to lose. [seems you can just walk into my heart]
I'll just make a cut to draw the poison from me then I'm sure I can carry on as I should. [seems you can just walk into my heart]
Never mind the silence to blame for the truth: I'm not looking for anything, but I need to speak to you.
I remember something I'm supposed to say I could tell you now and you might just go away. [seems you can just walk into my heart]
Now I'm painting a pretty picture of you in chrome yellow. It's a jaundiced view. [seems you can just walk into my heart]
Never mind the silence to blame for the truth: I'm not looking for anything, but I need to speak to you.

| Lyrics: |
Same time, you're waiting for me to come home. I look to see if there's a frown or nothing at all. I'm tired - almost broken, welcome to softly spoken, (disease of being open). I'm not a part of this scene.
It hasn't always been this way so I wait for love to change (but it's always me who takes the blame).
You kick me back against the wall. And when I try and raise a smile... You just kick me back against the wall.
Is this the night for passion? What I was I've now forgotten. You've finally made me feel as insecure as you. One word, a simple gesture, one touch designed for pleasure, too close and everything goes cool (it never used to). But I just can't tear myself away and settle for a memory.
Because it's always me who takes the blame.
You kick me back against the wall. And as I try and raise a smile... You just kick me back against the wall.
It's always me who takes the blame
You kick me back against the wall. And when I try and raise a smile, you kick me back against the wall. And I''m feeling sorry for myself. You kick me back against the wall. I just try and raise a smile. You kick me back against the wall. |

Love your stuff Crash TV. You remind me of a band I saw in 1957 supporting Lonnie Donegan at the Batley Tearooms, Wakefield called Storm Of Glass I think. Any relation? Must go, I've a bun in the oven.
