I thought I'd post an update to the photo there 'Old studio'. I added a second desk (looks space ship like now), re-cabled everything (saved me 35 ft of cables, don't know how) , put the computer in an isolated box and the room got some acoustic treatment to avoid high frequency reflections and low frequency standing waves. There's a fair bit of the crashtv "studio" in this video too. It's an MP4 so you might need Quicktime, and it's best to download it (only 16 mb).
