Another way to get and maintain a good operation system is to install a second harddrive into your PC and run your PC in dual boot by installing Windows twice, one on each HD.
Windows will automatically create a bootmanager so you can choose the operation system you would like to start. After you have your second Windows running you should use it only for your music software. If you do not need to connect to the internet from your music OS, you even won't need a virus scanner software. Without having to install this and that which puts itself into the registry, autostart and so on, you will get the most out of your machine when making music, performance-wise.
Remember how fast Windows is after a clean install? It will remain that fast then. |

Tom and Tom,
Wow, I followed most of the tuning tips and my laptop is already running faster. I haven't gotten to anything audio yet. I'm sure it's going to perform much better as well.
Also, I was interested in what you said Tom about setting windows up on another hardrive. I wonder how or if this would work for me. I have an external hardrive connected via the usb. Is it possible to install windows on that?
I wanted to thank you for these great tips. |

| That external drive would probably not be fast enough to run an opration system, I would not recommend but I'm not 100% sure as I don't run an external drive myself. |

Thanks Tom. I'm reallly tempted to try it out, but sometimes I do things that start uneventful fires. I think I'll do some research on this first. I'll take your advice |

Callaway Diablo Edge Driver
The Callaway Diablo Edge Driver is the one club of discount golf clubs you want to have in your bag if there’s going to be a fight, and if you play in a competition, friendly or otherwise, you will not want to see this club come out of someone else’s bag, so make sure it’s in yours ishiner. |

Callaway driver
They have a fused titanium construction which really means they have a lightweight body and a strong face ishiner. This gives the discount golf clubs Diablo Edge Driver the largest moments of inertia than any titanium driver Callaway has produced in the past. |

Another tuning tips for Windows XP for audio processing is to turn off your visual effects. This can be done by going to: Start>Control Panel>System>Advanced>Performance Settings>Visual Effects.
Select "Custom" and de-select the visual effect options. Next, set the Windows theme to "Classic". It'll make your OS look a bit more boring, by right clicking on your desktop, and selecting "Properties", select "Windows theme" and choose "Classic".
