I apologize to the world.

America is a nation of imbeciles led by a lying moron...

Webster's Dictionary -
moron: 1. a feebleminded person or mental defective who has a potential mental age of between 8 and 12 years and is capable of doing routine work under supervision - 2. a very stupid person

I think that about sums it up...

:nope:

There was so much emphasis on terror in this election -

I find it highly ironic that the places that are most likely targets of terrorist attacks - New York, California, Washington DC - they all voted for Kerry, and the sparsely populated mid section of the country, voted for Bush.

And DJ - I know this has global consequences - I did apologize to the world - even though I voted Kerry and come from one of the states that voted Kerry. We did what we could...

Well Von,

over 50 million Americans wanted a change,
this had been noticed in the rest of the world :)

At least there's reason for a little laughter today and this because
of the official statement from IRAN LOL

Maybe somebody can translate this freakin' "We are glad Mr. Bush won" message!! LOL  :grinno:
(from a German news site, I don't find it now properly translated in English
language news services)

Quote:

A bunch of ignorant, paranoid bible-thumping rednecks from Middle-America in charge of history's most powerful military machine.

It doesn't bear thinking about, it's a recipe for global disaster.

There's no need to apologize, Von, I know you and so many others tried your hardest. My sympathies go out to the milions of intelligent liberal Americans who are forced to live under the rule of these oafs.

A sad day indeed.... I hope my fears will not come true, I hope that there will be an awakening in america, all we can do now is hope.

(The day the gods awoke)

They laid naked and laughed while the fires ate the sky
And the more they laughed the more it fell
A putrid stench filled the air
Yet they did not care
No one cares

Is it not me that made this world?
Is it not me that will unfold?
Like a wounded animal
Like a raging hunger
Like a thunder in the rain
Breaking the chain
Breaking the ever mesmerizing silence

The day the gods awoke.......

Sorry, that so many here think that 59,000.000 people are ignorant and that their leader is ignorant, it was a fair election, 3 fair debates, and that's just the way the cookie crumbles!!!! Have a nice day

trouble is we have to put up with Bush's influence on the world and we can do nothing to stop it. So when something like this comes up and there is a chance for change the rest of the world looks to America with hope that they can do just that.

If America did not affect all our lives so deeply in its actions, trust me, we would not react the way we do.

Carol, congratulations. That's the first correct political fact you've ever identified.

I appreciate your concerns, but I hardly think it's a sad day when people have access to all the facts and then are given the right to vote. So, like it or not, like war or not, I feel it is a sad when people just feel so free to put down another countries leader, I must say it's sad indeed. YOu have been discussing this for four years in one format or other, and I suppose you will continue the big hoopla for the next four years, so let's hope really great things will happen and things do get better how about that huh, you think you can do that at least, you all seem to stick together on issues so hang tight!!!!!!!!! :D
